What is SCORE?

The Stollery Cardiac Outcomes Research and Evaluation Team supports clinical research within the Stollery Cardiac Program. We can help from concept to completion, to facilitate efficient and successful research.

Whether you’re primarily based in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, NICU, PCICU, Nursing, or you’re an allied member of the Program, we’re here for you.

How does SCORE help researchers?

At SCORE, we are particularly well connected with both the AHS and UofA research communities. If we don’t know the answer, we likely know someone who does. This experience, training, and networking positions us well to be able to suggest strategies for how to structure your research applications and processes.

At SCORE, we hate re-work. We like to see things done correctly the first time in order to save you time and money!

How does SCORE help patients & families?

SCORE helps create awareness among patients and families about which studies are currently recruiting.

We can also explain what participation in research is all about, and share stories about our research findings.
